The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) reported that together with the National Civil Police (PNC), they issued 29 arrest warrants against people accused of different crimes committed in different departments.

“During the early morning, the FGR ordered the capture of 29 people accused of different crimes. This operation was carried out in coordination with the PNC in San Vicente, Cabañas, Cuscatlán, San Salvador and La Libertad,” said the Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the statements provided by the FGR, the detainees are charged with the following crimes: ️Scam; Theft by computer means; Threats with special aggravation and aggravated documentary falsification.

Among those arrested are: Kevin Armando Dubón Ayala who posed as a representative of a company that sold cell phones. Dubón deceived a victim and demanded $300 as an advance.

“Another of those detained is Zulma Nohemí Magaña from Aragón, accused of fraud. Magaña deceived a victim by posing as a salesperson for an appliance company,” the FGR mentioned in X.
