2nd ODI between India and South Africa today – Chance of rain

The Bauma-led South African cricket team is touring and playing in India. There are five 20-over series between the two teams. South Africa won the first match by 7 wickets in Delhi. This gives the team a 1-0 lead.

The 2nd Twenty20 match between the two teams will be played today in Cuttack, Odisha. Indian fans are eagerly awaiting the Rishabh-led Indian team’s revenge for their defeat in the first match.

Meanwhile, Biswas, director of the Bhubaneswar division of the state meteorological center, said it was not certain that it would not rain in Cuttack today.

He said the sky would be cloudy and there would be thundershowers in the evening, however, there would be no heavy rain that could affect the competition. An official of the Odisha Cricket Association said that they are ready to face the situation even if it rains.

As the international cricket tournament is being held in Odisha after a gap of two and a half years, today’s match has caused a great deal of excitement among cricket fans.

A statement from the Odisha government said that sports fans who come to watch the match should take adequate precautionary measures to protect themselves from heat wave-like conditions.

In this situation, no one wearing a mask will be allowed to enter the ground, said the Commissioner of Police SK Priyadarshi. Tickets for the match clearly said ‘No Mask No Entry’ and spectators were told not to bring other items, including knives.
