2nd Test against Sri Lanka – West Indies all out for 253 runs

The 2nd Test between Sri Lanka and West Indies started on the 29th at the Kale Stadium. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat

At the end of the first day, Sri Lanka were 113 for 1 in 34.4 overs and were all out for 204 in the ensuing match. Veerasamy Perumal took 5 wickets and Warigan took 4 wickets for West Indies.

Then the West Indies started the first innings. West Indies were 69 for 1 at the end of the second day’s play yesterday. The 3rd game started today. Starter Broadway played better and added 72 runs.

While Kyle Myers was unbeaten on 36, the West Indies were all out for 253 in the first innings as the other players were bowled out for short runs. Sri Lanka’s Ramesh Mendis took 6 wickets.

Sri Lanka then batted 49 in the 2nd innings.
