2nd World Media Congress opens in Abu Dhabi, with Morocco participating

This congress, in which the Maghreb Arab Press Agency (MAP) is participating,‍ represented by its Director General, Mr. Fouad Arif, aims to⁤ highlight the crucial role of⁤ the media in the fields of sustainability, innovation, ⁣and education,⁤ with a particular focus on youth. This is evident through the participation of students from over a hundred universities worldwide.

The event is also ⁢graced​ by a delegation representing the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication. It aims ⁣to showcase the latest technologies and innovations​ and their potential impact on the future of the media.

Speaking at the occasion, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, emphasized ‌the significance of​ this​ grand event for the future of the media, urging professionals in the sector to leverage technological⁤ advancements and innovations ⁢to contribute to the development of the “fourth‍ estate”.

The Director General‌ of the Emirates News ​Agency (WAM) and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee‌ of ⁢the‍ World Media Congress, Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, highlighted the congress’s goal of becoming a leading global platform for⁤ fostering‍ international cooperation and establishing new partnerships that promote innovation, offering promising opportunities‍ in the media sector.

Held under ​the patronage of HH ‍Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court,‌ the 2nd World ⁣Media Congress, organized by ADNEC Group and WAM, will feature various activities including the Educational ⁤Platform, ​the Innovation Council, the NexTech Platform, alongside round tables‌ and workshops.

The Congress, themed “Shaping the Future of‍ the Media Industry,” will gather representatives from ​government, media, academia, and industry for thematic sessions focusing on key topics, led by leading experts from the media industry.
