New Delhi: Godrej Industries Chairman Nadir Godrej and his family have bought three luxury apartments in a residential project in South Mumbai. The deal was struck for Rs 180 crore. The Godrej family has made this purchase in Ruparel House, a project being built in Malabar Hill by a real estate subsidiary of JSW Group. These luxury apartments offer a spectacular view of the Arabian Sea. This super luxury residential project under construction on Ridge Road in Malabar Hill is being developed by JSW Realty. The Godrej family has bought apartments on the sixth, seventh and eighth floors of this tower. These are spread over a total of 13,836 square feet. This includes an exclusive deck and covered balcony of 1,029 square feet. According to documents obtained through Zapkey.com, the deal was registered on June 12. Nadir Godrej and his two sons paid Rs 10.79 crore as stamp duty for the registration. As per the deal, the Godrej family will get 12 car parking slots in the exclusive tower. It has 14 residential levels and only one apartment on each floor. The project is expected to be completed by December 2027. The deal value including stamp duty and GST is Rs 1.44 lakh per sq ft. This makes it one of the most expensive deals in the country. ET’s emails sent to Godrej Industries and JSW remained unanswered till the time of writing the report.
