Since it was now summer vacation the kids used to get in the car and play.

The car was parked in the sun for a long time and the heat was inside the car due to the impact of the sun. Unable to even open the car door glass, the children fainted due to the excessive heat inside the car.

Parents have rescued two children from a car and one from a life-threatening condition.
The baby died on the way to the hospital.
A case has been registered at the Panakudi police station. The bodies were autopsied at Asaripallam Government Hospital in Nagercoil and handed over to the parents.
Examination of the car’s AC revealed that no such toxic gas was emitted as the children may have died due to the release of toxic gas from the car’s AC which had been parked for a long time.
“Since it is summer vacation, parents should keep an eye on their children when they go to play.
Parents should observe children going to play every half hour. Parents should pay more attention to their children during the holidays, ”said Valliyoor ASP Somesingh Meena.
