jpnn.com – Three Indonesian representatives will appear in the semifinals of the 2024 China Open.
The three representatives are Jonatan Christie from the men’s singles sector, Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Daniel Marthin (men’s doubles), and Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja (mixed doubles).
The BWF Super 1000 tournament semifinal series will take place today at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, China, Saturday (21/9/2024), starting at 09.00 WIB.
Dejan/Gloria will be the first Indonesian delegation to appear. The world’s 16th-ranked mixed doubles will challenge the host pair Feng Yan Zhe/Huang Dong Ping.
This match will be a test for Dejan/Gloria considering that Yan Zhe/Dong Ping are the second seeds for the 2024 China Open and also the host representatives.
The Dejan/Gloria vs Yan Zhe/Dong Ping duel will take place in the third match.
Then, the Indonesian representative who appeared was Fikri/Daniel. The new pair will face the Nusantara derby against the Malaysian duo Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin.
The Fikri/Daniel vs Goh/Nur match will take place in the 7th match.
