jpnn.comTAIPEI – Three Indonesian representatives have made it to the semifinals in the 2024 Taipei Open tournament.
Competing at the Taipei Arena, Friday (6/9/2024), the three remaining representatives are Putri Kusuma Wardani (women’s singles), Jesita Putri Miantoro/Febi Setianingrum and Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi (women’s doubles).
Putri KW advanced to the semifinals after defeating the host’s mainstay women’s singles player, Tai Tzu Ying with a score of 18-21, 21-16, 24-22.
This victory brought the women’s singles player born on July 20, 2002 to her first victory against the world’s third ranked badminton player.
