Sivamoga: Police arrested three IS supporters in Karnataka’s Sivamoga district. They have been charged with terrorism.
The police said that the three arrested persons were trying to spread the activities of the banned ISIS, a terrorist organization to disrupt the unity, sovereignty and integrity of India and were trained to make bombs and carry out attacks through them.
Shariq, Maji and Syed Yasin from Shivamoga district have been arrested. They have been charged under several sections of the IPC Act and the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act. It is revealed that Yashin is the brain behind it and he has studied electrical engineering.
In this regard, Home Minister Araka Gyanendra said that the arrested have links with IS, a terrorist organization. He said that serious investigation is being conducted into their activities.
