Dantewada. Three Naxalites were killed in a fierce exchange of fire between security forces and Naxalites in the forest between Tumkapal and Dabba Kunna villages of Dantewada Sukma border area. Bodies of 3 Naxalites recovered. Arms and ammunition and Naxal related material were also recovered.
There has been an encounter between police and Naxalites on the border of Dantewada-Sukma district in Chhattisgarh. There is news of 3 Naxalites killed in the encounter. It is being told that the police force has entered Dabbakunna, the core area of Naxalites. At present the search operation is being conducted. The matter is of Katekalyan police station area.

According to the information, information was received that hardcore Naxalites of Katekalyan Area Committee are present in Dabbakunna area. After this, DRG soldiers were sent to the spot from Dantewada. When the soldiers reached Dabbakunna forest, the Naxalites started firing there.
The soldiers also took charge and gave a befitting reply to the Naxalites’ bullets. The firing continued from both sides for about 40 to 45 minutes. 2 to 3 Naxalites were shot in this encounter. At present a search operation is being conducted in the area. All information about the encounter will be given soon.
