Kochi: (www.kvartha.cm) Three people, including a student, were arrested with the deadly drug MDMA in the city. Abhiram (20), TS Abin (18) and Anulakshmi (18), natives of Idukki, were taken into custody by the Ernakulam Town North Police.
According to the police: Based on the secret information received by Kochi City Police Commissioner Nagaraju Chakilam, the police and the Kochi City Dance Team arrested the three persons at a house near the Kalur Liberty Line. 122 grams of MDMA, which was brought for sale for the New Year celebration, was seized from them.
When the police arrived, the three were busy weighing and wrapping the drug. Abhiram is the leader of the group. The young woman in the group is a civil aviation student. The sale started in the last three months. The action of the police was after a long observation. The police added that they are investigating from where the substance was brought.
