A 3-year-old child was found dead inside a school van in Mooca, east of São Paulo. The case happened this Monday (18). The victim was a boy, who was forgotten by the driver of the vehicle, as she was dropping off a group of children at the same school where he should have stayed.
On the same day, the driver was arrested in the act and taken to the 6th DP, in the Cambuci neighborhood.
Understand the situation
The child was found under one of the seats of the school van, by the driver herself, hours later.
In a statement to the Police, the woman said that she left a group of children at school, parked the vehicle on the block and went to carry out other activities. When she went to pick up the students, the driver saw that the boy was not at school. It was then that he started looking for the child and found her inside the van, late in the afternoon. She called the PM herself.
