Frankfurt – At 16 he went to DSDS for the first time, since then he has been unstoppable: Aytug Gün (33) has participated in over 30 castings for TV shows in 16 years.
2006 his first appearance in front of Dieter Bohlen and Co. Aytug was eliminated in the preliminary round. A year later he tried again and landed in the top 40. “Then I tasted blood, I felt like being on TV shows and being on stage,” says the singer and full-time daycare manager (“Terminal for Kids “).

In 2009 he was one of the twelve finalists in the Popstars season “You & Me”, but dropped out. Castings for dating, game and singing formats followed. He won singing competitions in Germany, Spain and Turkey.
On the third attempt at DSDS, Aytug Gün made it into the motto shows
In 2016 he took part in DSDS again, was 10th – his breakthrough! Since then, he’s had up to three auditions a year, followed by performances. “The Voice” is coming up, his new single “Sonne” will be released in spring.

What motivates him? Aytug: “It’s fun and I can just be myself.” His goal: “To move into the Big Brother house!”

Aytug’s tips for casting chicks:
1. Don’t do too much, otherwise the disappointment will be too great if it doesn’t work.
2. Be yourself! sell yourself well
3. Have fun, don’t let it get you down.
4. It doesn’t matter what others say! You can’t be liked by everyone.
