As she grew up, her passion for music intensified, leading her to become a multi-instrumentalist and orchestra conductor until her big break: winning the Castrocaro Festival with the song “Pietra su Pietra” in 1986. She then participated in the Sanremo Festival four times: in 1987 with Notte di Praga, in 1988 with Non è segreto, and in 2000 with La canzone del perdono.



Her latest participation in the Sanremo Festival was in 2003, and on that occasion, she performed alongside her partner Enrico Ruggeri with the song “Nessuno tocchi Caino”. Additionally, she returned to Sanremo in 2002 and 2010 as the orchestra conductor for her partner Enrico Ruggeri. In 2013, she received the Lunezia Doc 2013 Award for the Musical-Literary quality of her songs.
