With the purpose of promoting the development of the country, through education, the National Directorate of Integration signed an agreement with the Pedagogical University of El Salvador «Dr. Luis Alonso Aparicio» (UPED) that will benefit with 300 scholarships.
This agreement was developed with the objective of supporting the Academic and Technical Continuity Project of the Directorate, which provides the opportunity to achieve academic dreams for both young people and adults.
“I am very happy to start, from the Integration Directorate, with the Academic and Technical Continuity project, which is one of the many that we have for the development of the country,” said Gutman. Scholarship recipients will be able to access the more than 30 careers that this higher education center has available.
The official added that there are more universities that are going to join this initiative, and that tomorrow, Wednesday, the Universidad de Oriente (UNIVO) will sign, and next week with other universities and technical schools. He expressed that he hopes that more universities will join this agreement.
