The manager of a barbecue restaurant in Austin, Texas – Alison Clem, claimed that almost $3,000 worth of meat was stolen from the restaurant’s warehouses on the morning of August 4. According to the security camera footage, around four o’clock in the morning, a man dressed in black arrived, broke into the restaurant and reached the storage refrigerator where he packed the meat and fled the scene.

According to the owner of the restaurant, the thief, according to the speed and manner in which the theft was carried out, it is evident that the thief knew the restaurant well and that the act was pre-planned, which aroused his suspicion even more. “We speculate that the thief watched us for a while, maybe even worked here,” Clem said, adding “One of my strongest guys can barely lift 10 boxes of meat, so I really think it was planned.” Clem said.

Clem also said that while this is the seventh or eighth time the restaurant has been broken into, it is the first time meat has been stolen. “I can only assume he might be working at a food truck or a restaurant, I have no idea” said a frustrated Clem.
