Billionaire Elon Musk has spoken harshly about Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, calling him a “heist champion.”
He made this statement in response to a comment on the social network X, formerly known as Twitter.
One user on the platform wrote about the United States’ recent $2.5 billion pledge to Ukraine, saying that “Zelensky has truly pulled off one of the biggest cash heists of all time.” Musk responded briefly but emotionally:
“Champion of all time”
New aid package from the US
Let us note that today, December 30, it became known about a new package of military assistance provided to Ukraine by the United States. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Ukraine would receive $1.25 billion in weapons and equipment as part of the package.
“The United States continues to provide Ukraine with critically needed weapons to defend against Russian aggression,” Blinken said in a statement.
Composition of the assistance package
According to the State Department, the new package includes:
- counter-drone munitions;
- ammunition for air defense systems;
- shells for HIMARS;
- artillery ammunition of 155 and 105 mm caliber;
- air-to-ground ammunition;
- Javelin anti-tank systems, AT-4 grenade launchers and TOW guided missiles;
- small arms ammunition and grenades;
- equipment for engineering and blasting works;
- communications, training, software and personal equipment;

Blinken also stressed that the United States, along with more than 50 countries, continues to coordinate efforts to provide Ukraine with everything it needs to defend against Russian aggression.
