Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SSO) have revealed the contents of the diary of North Korean military officer Gyong Hong Jong, who was liquidated in the Kursk region.

The MTR press service posted this material on its Telegram channel.

The records, as reported by the MTR on January 3, confirm the participation of the North Korean military in the Russian-Ukrainian war. According to the special forces soldier, the main goal of their participation is to gain combat experience, which may be useful for future actions in the interests of Kim Jong-un.

The SOF noted that the North Korean military performs tasks for the sake of the party and the leader, even at the cost of their own lives. These recordings, according to the Ukrainian military, demonstrate the attitude of dictator Kim Jong-un towards his troops. At the same time, North Korea continues to hide the fact of sending military personnel to Russian territory.

In one of the entries, Jong emphasized that the main task of the DPRK armed forces is constant readiness for war. He also mentioned the slogan, which requires mobilizing all forces to complete preparations for hostilities. In addition, the diary states that battalions must be versatile and ready to carry out any task immediately after receiving an order, even at the cost of death.

Earlier, on December 24, the MTR showed the first part of the diary, which contained congratulations on the birthday of one of the soldiers and plans for intercepting drones. On December 28, a recording was published in which Jong explained his departure to Russia as a crime.

Some of the data from the diary remains classified because it is sensitive and could reveal strategically important information. However, records already released confirm North Korea’s active participation in supporting Russia, despite official silence on this matter.
