An incident occurred on board a United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Manila. One of the passengers, who was sleeping in business class, suddenly woke up and saw that another passenger was defecating on him.

The incident occurred on December 27, approximately four hours after takeoff. The victim was wearing a seat belt and was asleep. According to his daughter, at first he thought it was a dream. But then he realized that he was completely wet – from his stomach to his legs – from the urine of another passenger.

“He was in shock,” his daughter said. — The plane crew forbade him to approach this person to avoid conflict. My father had to stay put for the rest of the eight-hour flight in wet clothes.”

In response to the incident, a United Airlines representative said: “We did record an incident with one of the passengers. Upon arrival in Manila on December 28, we contacted the police. The offender was detained.”
