A jeep overturned while on a family safari trip in Tanzania. An Israeli woman in her 30s died as a result of the accident. The remaining family members in the car were injured.

According to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, an Israeli medical team was sent to the scene. The agency said: “The case is being monitored by the Department of Israelis Abroad and the Israeli Consul in Nairobi. We are providing assistance to the family and medical team.”

The body of the deceased is planned to be delivered to Israel in the coming days for burial.

Insurance company Harel said it immediately sent an Israeli doctor to Tanzania. A company representative noted: “Following the tragic accident, we decided to quickly dispatch a medical specialist to provide quick and quality care to the victims. We are in constant contact with the families, the Foreign Office and everyone involved in the process.”
