The National League continued today (Tuesday) with a great game by Ben Sharaf. The 16-year-old set a career high of 32 points and led Netanya to a big away victory in Samaria, while in other games Elitzur Ashkelon defeated Maccabi Rashel and Ironi Nahariya defeated Habel Modi’in.
Elizur Shomron – Elizur Netanya 93:85
Ben Sharaf excelled from the start of the game and finished with 32 points on 11 of 17 from the field. Samaria increased to 23:32 and reached 38:48. Later, Sharaf managed to lead his team to 77:84 and it kept the advantage until the end.
Sharaf led Netanya with 32 points, while Justin Robinson scored 16 with 13 rebounds. Amit Alon scored 23 points with 4 of 9 from beyond the arc.
Maccabi Rishon Lezion – Elitzur Ashkelon 97:70
Elitzur Ashkelon impressed against the Oranges from the city of wine, in an unequivocal game in which Ashkelon led 29:46 at halftime. Dekrai Tucker scored 18 points for the winner while Gal Gilinski added 17 with 7 aces and 7 rebounds. Jonathan Moore scored 15 points with 13 rebounds in the loss.
Ironi Nahariya – Hapoel Habel Modi’in 58:80
Naharia had no difficulty against the leader of the table, in a game in which she scored 11 three-pointers for 47%. Yehu Orland’s team remained at the bottom in a game in which Dominez Burnett scored 14 points. Karon Deshields scored 28 on the other hand.
