33-year-old arrested in Aurora neighborhood

A 33-year-old Romanian national was arrested after being found in possession of 11 cloned credit cards used for refueling at a petrol station. The man was arrested for improper use and falsification of payment instruments other than cash. Two other men who were with him, his fellow countrymen, were reported under the same law.

The three were surprised on Wednesday evening, September 11, between Corso Ciriè and Via Cigna in Turin, by the staff of the Crime Prevention Department, during an extraordinary control of the territory coordinated by the Dora Vanchiglia Police Station. The activity was mainly concentrated in Lungo Dora Napoli, Corso Giulio Cesare, Corso Emilia and surrounding streets and also led to the identification of 39 people, the control of 3 public establishments (administrative sanctions of 334 euros were issued) and the seizure, against unknown persons, of 102 grams of hashish in the Madre Teresa di Calcutta gardens.
