Likewise Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Tirupattur, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Erode, Karur, Namakkal, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Nagapattinam, Kallakurichi, Salem, Tiruchirappalli, Pudukottai, Sivagangai, Ramanathapuram, Dindigul, Madurai, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Thenkasi, Thoothukudi. and Puducherry are also expected to receive light to moderate rains.
The Meteorological Department also said that there is a possibility of light rain in the districts including Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Chennai, Kanchipuram and Ranipet.
