KUWAIT CITY: The traffic and operations sector has found many violations in various areas of Kuwait. 34 minors were arrested for driving without a driving license. They were referred to juvenile prosecution.
A total of 30,000 traffic violations were found during the inspection. 64 people were arrested for reckless driving. 16 vehicles and 51 motorcycles were shifted to the detention garage. Officials informed that the traffic patrol department handled 1556 minor vehicle accidents and 255 serious accidents during a week.

At the same time, many expatriates were arrested during the inspections conducted in Kuwait in the past few days. The Ministry of Interior of Kuwait announced that 27 expatriates were arrested from the Friday market alone. According to the statement released by the authorities, they were people who had come to Kuwait in violation of the country’s residence laws.
It has been handed over to the concerned departments to take further action against the arrested expatriates. They will be transferred to deportation centers and from here they will be deported to their home countries. Deportees cannot return to Kuwait on new visas.

There are also reports that a Nepalese man was arrested for disrespectful behavior at the Friday market. Last day, the Ministry of Interior of Kuwait announced through social media that 11 expatriates who violated labor and residence laws were arrested from other places. A special team of officials from various departments arrested the expatriates of various nationalities.
