New York to Ireland Travel:
Former professional rugby player Damian Brown traveled solo across the Atlantic Ocean from New York City to Galway, Ireland on June 4. Brown set a historic record by sailing from New York to Ireland in 112 days. Brown has logged more than 42,250 hours on his beautiful hand-built Kushlamachree yacht.
On June 14, Brown left Chelsea Piers in Manhattan by ferry. He traveled 3,450 nautical miles across the Atlantic Ocean to reach Ireland. And Brown, who holds such a world record, knows how to swim and has reached the shore with only his courage.
When he arrived on his boat in Galway, Ireland last Tuesday, hundreds of family members and friends gathered to give him an enthusiastic welcome. Brown has been overwhelmed by the enthusiastic reception.

Troubles at sea:
Brown said that he faced difficult conditions in the sea, and because of this, negative thoughts arose in his mind in many places. Because while traveling in the sea, we have to keep on paddling and even if we leave a break of 15 minutes, we will be pushed back a long way by wind or wave. He also said that it will take twice as much effort as before to regain the distance covered.

The story of being singled out by a friend:
Initially Brown embarked on sea voyages with his friend Fergus Farrell. Together they plan to travel from New York to Ireland in 56 days. But unfortunately only 13 days after starting the sea voyage, Brown’s friend got seriously ill. Due to this, he had to abandon the sea voyage halfway through. Farrell, who abandoned the tour halfway through due to severe back pain, has also welcomed Brown to Ireland. I thought I had left my friend stranded in the middle of the ocean. But Farrell said he is happy he is now back home safely.
