Chennai: The 34th All India Football Tournament is being held on behalf of the Postal Department, Rajendra Kumar, Head of the Postal Department said. Department Head Rajendra Kumar gave an interview to the reporters about the 34th All India Football Tournament organized by the Postal Department at Anna Road, Chennai: The 34th All India Football Tournament organized by the Postal Department at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai will start today and will last for 5 days till the 26th. 10 teams from states like Assam, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu will participate in this tournament.

Southern Railway General Manager Mallya will be the Chief Guest and Satish Kumar who was the goalkeeper in the international football tournament will be the special guest. As the competition is held on behalf of the postal department on an all-India level, only union ministers and officials are in practice,’ he said. Post Office Officer Govinda Rajan said, “Tamil Nadu has topped the entire India in the number of new accounts opened in post offices.”
