2023 national decoration ceremony: 357 recipients honored
(Ouagadougou, December 8, 2023). The President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, Grand Master of the Burkinabè Orders, chaired, this Friday afternoon, the official decoration ceremony as part of the celebration of the 63rd anniversary of the accession of our country to independence. There are a total of 357, i.e. 205 in the Order of the Stallion and 152 in the Order of Merit, to have their merits recognized.
The nation is grateful for the sacrifices of its daughters and sons who distinguished themselves by their dedication, their professional value and the quality of the service rendered to the homeland during this period of reconquest of the national territory. These recipients come from public administration, the private sector, religious and customary communities, the cultural sector and the rural world.
This act of recognition is an invitation to the daughters and sons of the nation to commitment and sacred union around the challenges of the Transition for the construction of a country of prosperity based on its endogenous values.
The recipients received the congratulations of the Head of State for their hard work and their commitment to the service of the nation.
