37% of Pskov residents suggested turning off gas and electricity to debtors

In the Pskov region, the results of a sociological survey were summed up, which were conducted to identify the most pressing problems for the inhabitants of the region in the work of managing organizations and in the housing and communal services sector. About this “MK in Pskov” was told in the press service of the administration of the city of Pskov.

57% of Pskov residents rated the quality of housing and communal services and the activities of managing organizations as a whole as bad, 32% as satisfactory, and only 11% as good.

45% of respondents gave a low rating to the quality of maintenance of playgrounds and recreation areas, 44% are dissatisfied with the maintenance of basements and attics, 40% of Pskov residents believe that the adjacent territory and green spaces are poorly maintained.

The most urgent problems in the housing and communal services sector were called high tariffs for housing and communal services, low level of improvement of adjacent territories, poor quality of housing and communal services, as well as dilapidated housing stock.

When asked what measures are more appropriate to improve the payment discipline of residents for housing and communal services, 37% of respondents suggested toughening responsibility, up to disconnection from electricity and gas supply.

The opinion poll was organized by the Union of Real Estate Owners of the project “Everywhere is at home. Utilities online” in order to organize public control over the observance of the rights of citizens in the sphere of housing and communal services.
