On Saturday, the Libyan National Commission for Education, Culture and Science received the final results of the participation of 89 Libyan students in the third session of the Arab Talented Initiative 2023-2024, which was launched by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) in partnership with the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) and witnessed the participation of many Arab countries.
This initiative comes as an executive program at the level of the Arab world to achieve integrated care and investment in young human energies in the Arab world. This initiative also aims to spread the culture of talent and support the care of the gifted in the Arab world, as well as to lead a movement to discover, nurture and embrace talented and creative young energies in the Arab world. .
Libya participated in the initiative with 89 male and female students, 53 of whom were able to complete the final exam, and 38 students qualified to benefit from the initiative’s training programs (8 students received an exceptional talent classification – 14 students obtained a gifted classification – 16 students achieved a promising level of talent) . .
According to the National Committee, gifted individuals who hold the “Exceptional Talent” degree, which is the highest degree on the “Arab Gifted” scale, will participate in a package of programs offered by the “Mawhiba” Foundation for students in this category, to develop their abilities and hone their talents, and include in-person and remote care programs, It includes the Excellence Program for admission to prestigious universities, to provide guidance, counseling, guidance, and leadership training, in addition to the “Global Enrichment Mawhibah” and “Academic Enrichment Mawhibah” programs. .
While students who hold the “Gifted” degree will participate in in-person and remote sponsorship programs that include the “Global Enrichment Mawhiba” and “Academic Enrichment Mawhiba” programs, while the “Mawhiba” Foundation will provide students with the “Promising Talent” degree, a sponsorship program that includes the “Promising Talent Program.” The talent of academic enrichment.”
