The statistics of the single baccalaureate session 2024 were given this Thursday, July 25, 2024 by the Regional Inspector of Education of Kindia. In the administrative region of Kindia, there were a total of 18,210 candidates registered, only 3,882 had their average, i.e. a success rate of 21.82%.
These are results considered catastrophic by most citizens of the administrative region of Kindia. In his office this morning, Mr. Mamary Diakité, Regional Inspector of Education of Kindia gave the statistics in these terms: “out of 18,210 who took the exam, including 8,331 girls, there were 3,882 admitted including 1,302 girls, that is a percentage of 21.32 total and 15.63 for girls in general education. For Franco-Arab education, 506 students took the exam including 81 girls. Admitted: 104 including 13 girls. Which makes an admission rate of 20.55% and 16.05% for girls.” And he added: “I would have liked Kindia to be the best region in the country during these exams. But wish and reality are two. So the students gave us what they could do. But I am not too sad because generally the averages are around 20 to 25%. If we are in this range, I could only encourage the students. The exam is not the end of life. If we fail, it means that somewhere we have not learned well or we are not capable of it. It does not mean that we have to go back next year.
