Storm warning cage number 3 has been installed at Pampan, Nagai, Karaikal and Tuticorin ports.
A warning cage has been installed to indicate the possibility of rain with wind. According to the Chennai Meteorological Department, 13 districts namely Kumari, Nellai, Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram, Theni, Thenkasi, Virudhunagar, Sivagangai, Pudukottai, Tiruvarur, Thanjai, Nagai, Mayiladuthurai are likely to receive heavy rain tomorrow.

On the other hand, it has been mentioned that the depression prevailing in the Southwest Bay of Bengal is moving towards the Kumari Sea area at a speed of 18 km per hour and the depression will move in the west and southwest direction and reach the Kumari Sea area tomorrow.
