In the statement made by İGA, it was noted that more than 4,000 readers and leading executives of the aviation industry participated in the voting, which was held with the opinion of aviation authorities, and the awards were determined as a result of voting. It was stated that Singapore Changi, Dubai, Lisbon and Doha airports were among the winners of the competition in the past years, while Istanbul Airport made a history as the first airport to win the best airport award for the third time in a row.
