Best Frenchman at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 (12th) and at the Munich Euro in 2022 (5th), Navarro (31) took 8th place in a race won by the Ethiopian Gadisa Birhanu Shumie (2h04: 59).
Navarro thus improves his personal best (2h07:01 in Valence in 2022) and becomes the third French performer behind the French record of Morhad Amdouni (2h05:22 in Paris in 2022) and Benoit Zwierzchiewski (2h06:36 in 2003).
