4.6 billion years ago, scientists say that life on Earth was created by meteorites from the outer surface of the Sun.
In a study conducted by scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Imperial College London, they found that meteorites are high in potassium and zinc.
As both these elements are volatile, both are capable of turning into water vapor at low temperatures. Therefore, scientists have said that it is possible that they fell to the earth 4.6 billion years ago and life forms arose from it.
