In Germany, some people were injured when a bomb exploded underground.

Analysts estimate that 15 percent of the approximately 1.5 million bombs dropped by British and US forces during World War II were unexploded ordnance.

Although about 2,000 tons of bombs have been found in 70 years, researchers say more bombs are still buried. Authorities say a bomb had exploded at a bridge near the Munich city train station, and four people have been rescued with injuries.
