4 Iraqi professionals join the training of the first and Olympic teams in Basra

/ The Iraqi Football Association announced, on Monday, that four players had joined the first and Olympic teams in their training camps in Basra Governorate.

The Federation stated in a statement received by Agency, that professionals Mirkhas Dusky and Yousef Al-Amin arrived at Basra International Airport coming from the European League to join the training of the first team, in preparation for the two matches of the Philippines within the double Asian football qualifiers.

He added that the Iraqi national team player and professional player in the Qatari league, Bashar Resan, also arrived to join the Iraqi national team’s training at its camp in Basra.

Meanwhile, the professional player, Amin Al-Hamwi, arrived in Basra to join the Olympic team delegation in preparation for the Asian qualifying competitions for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Iraqi national team began its training yesterday evening, Saturday, at the training fields of the Sports City in Basra, in preparation for meeting the Philippine national team in two home and away matches in the double qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup finals.
