/ Four football matches will start on Thursday, as part of the 21st round of the Iraqi Stars Football League in Baghdad, Sulaymaniyah, Najaf and Maysan.
The round’s competitions will begin with a meeting between the teams of Naft Maysan and its guest, Naft Basra, and the match will be held at Maysan Olympic Stadium at three o’clock in the afternoon.
Three matches will be held at nine-thirty in the evening, as Al-Zawraa Stadium will host the match between the hosts and fans, the Al-Zawraa team and its guest, Al-Kahraba.
In Sulaymaniyah Stadium, the Newroz team will host its guest, Amanat Baghdad, and the Najaf team will also meet its guest, coming from Baghdad, the Al-Naft team.
The Al-Shorta team topped the standings of the Iraq Stars Football League after the end of the 20th round with 45 points on goal difference from Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, which fell to second place after losing to Dohuk. The Zakho team came third with 33 points, while Dohuk came fourth with 32 points. Then Al-Zawraa is fifth with 31 points, and Al-Talaba is sixth with the same score as Al-Zawraa, but behind it on goal difference.
