A rap song sung 30 years ago by Naomi Shemer became a hit on the TikTok app, and is currently one of the most popular songs among teenagers on the social network.
The app, which has already done this to many forgotten songs, managed to do it this time as well, and remade “Fresh New”, an old song by Naomi Shemer, a hit in 2022 as well.

The hashtag #Naamishmer has gained almost 4 million views on the social network, and the number is growing. The song was written by Shemer and composed by Adi Rennert, it was included in the children’s tape “With us on the piano” directed by Zvia Huberman.
Shemer, the winner of the Israel Prize for the Hebrew Singer, was an Israeli poet, musician and songwriter who wrote many songs, some of which have become properties of the Iron Sheep in Israeli heritage, such as “Jerusalem of Gold”, “The Eucalyptus Grove”, “Let it be”, “On all these” and ” the singing of the weeds”.
