It is said that some of them have published alarming posts about the effects of the earthquake. The Turkish police are arresting and interrogating 4 people who posted on social media to create unnecessary fear and panic.
Police said they are investigating the four persons after finding accounts of sharing the recordings with the aim of creating fear and panic among people. But the police did not release any information about the recordings.
At the same time, the address and location information of the people sharing information on social websites asking for help has been detected immediately and coordination has been established to provide assistance, according to the Turkish police.
