Officers from the Lynn Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at 98 Rockaway St. shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday and found two men, ages 34 and 66, dead from apparent gunshot wounds, Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett told theWCVB.

One neighbor reported hearing up to 20 gunshots at the scene. Police have identified a 31-year-old woman as a possible suspect, Blodgett said. Just before 4:30 p.m., officers found the woman dead inside her car in a stop-and-go parking lot about a mile away at 35 Washington St., the prosecutor said. Officials determined she died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
