Police have arrested four North Indian robbers who looted jewelery and cash worth Rs 2 crore from a Tirupur jewelery shop.

Jayakumar (age 45) hails from Tirupur Puthurama Krishnapuram. He owns a jewelry store on KPN, Colony 3rd Street. He also ran a jewelry pawn shop and a monthly ticket. Yesterday, he broke into his shop and seized 3.25 kg of gold jewelery, 28 kg of silver jewelery and Rs. 14.50 lakh was looted by the mystics.
Following this, 3 special forces were formed on the orders of Tirupur Municipal Police Commissioner AG Babu to catch the robbers. Private police raided the jewelry store and homes in the area, including CCTV cameras fitted to private companies. When examining the footage recorded on the camera, the image of 4 people wearing masks was recorded. It was revealed that they were the ones involved in the robbery.
Following this, the personal police sought the help of the Maharashtra Railway Police and sent them portraits of 4 members of the robbery gang.
The train carrying the four robbers was on its way to Nagpur Ballarsa when the railway police boarded the train. The police arrested 4 people who were on the train at that time.
They rushed to Nagpur to inform the Tirupur personal police about this. All 4 of them were handed over by the Railway Police.
The four were identified as Mahtab Alam, Badrul (27), Tilakos (20) and Mohammad Subhan (30) of Bihar. A search of their bags turned up 3 kg of gold, 28 kg of silver jewelery and Rs 14 lakh in cash. It was confiscated by the police. Their value will be Rs 2 crore 10 lakh.
The four were later produced in Nagpur Court by the personal police, who are taking them to Tirupur to investigate the robbery.
The four robbers were staying in a rented house at the back of a jewelery shop in Tirupur and were looking at the jewelery shop. Since then they have been involved in looting. It seems that further information will be released through the ongoing investigation into them.
