jpnn.comBANDUNG REGENCY – Head of the Bandung Regency Bawaslu, Kahpiana, said that he had received reports about the presence of several village heads at the grand tabligh event which was also attended by prospective regional head candidate pairs.
He said the village heads were in the Solokan Jeruk District, District and Pasirjambu. Bawaslu also took preventive measures against this.
“Yesterday we clarified to prevent any activities that could possibly create a conflict of interest between the village head and the candidate pairs present,” said Kahpiana when contacted, Wednesday (4/9).
Kahpiana said the presence of the prospective pair of Bandung Regent and Deputy Regent candidates at the village head event was not yet categorized as a violation.
Because the prospective candidate pair has not been determined by the KPU as a candidate pair.
“The village head must be neutral and must not seek to profit,” he said.
He explained that after determining the prospective candidates as candidates, his party could take action against activities that had the potential to violate.
Currently, his party is taking preventive measures so that village heads do not benefit prospective candidate pairs.
