Today marks 4 years since the fifth bloody Armenian missile attack on Ganja.

On the night of October 17, 2020, the city center was subjected to an enemy missile attack. As a result of the fifth missile strike on Ganja, 16 civilians were killed and 55 were injured.

The military-political leadership of Armenia, implementing a policy of terror against the civilian population, grossly and deliberately violated the Geneva Convention, resolutions and provisions of the UN, the Hague Convention, UNESCO, as well as other international and regional organizations, and in particular the obligations undertaken.

It should be noted that the city of Ganja was attacked by Armenia 5 times with missiles and heavy artillery. As a result of these attacks, 26 people were killed, 175 people were injured, and significant damage was caused to vehicles and civilian infrastructure in the city.

In general, during the war that began on September 27, 2020 and lasted 44 days, as a result of the military aggression of the armed forces and illegal armed groups of Armenia, 93 civilians were killed (including 54 men, 27 women and 12 children), 444 people were injured (including 268 men, 109 women and 67 children).

Note that the former so-called The “president” of the Karabakh separatists, Arayik Harutyunyan, accused of terrorist actions against the civilian population of Ganja during the Second Karabakh War, was detained by the State Security Service and taken to Baku.
