The Tamil Nadu government has ordered to fill about 4,000 sales and construction posts in fair price shops through district recruitment centers.
As per Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Rules, a five-member District Recruitment Station, a Revenue Commissioner appointed by the District Collector and a District Food Supply Officer have been newly added as committee members. Selection of Vendors and Builders for Co-operative Fair Price Shops will be conducted through District Recruitment Centres.
Since the District Supply Officer appointed by the District Supply Officer is also a member of the Screening Committee (Screening Committee) for the selection of vendors and builders set up by the District Recruitment Station, instructions have been given to the District Supply Officer to cooperate wholeheartedly in the work of the Screening Committee of the District Recruitment Station.
Also, since the verification work will require a large number of officers, instructions have been issued to the District Officers of the concerned Departments to make use of the Revenue and Rural Development Officers.
Since a large number of people may apply for this selection process after the corona epidemic, the District Superintendent of Police has been ordered to provide security facilities to the interview center on the day of the interview, so that the various government departments in the district should provide cooperation and assistance to conduct the selection process without any complaints.
Candidates are directed to upload and submit applications for the post of Salesman and Builder along with relevant certificates. Applications should be received online only, applications received by post or in person will not be accepted.
The District Recruiting Office shall receive the details of vacancies from the societies in writing within fifteen days from the date of occurrence of the present vacancy under the General Distribution Scheme and for subsequent vacancies ninety days before the date of occurrence of such vacancy.
The District Recruitment Center must follow the existing ordinances, legal sections and rules related to the 200 point caste cycle, reservation rules, priority and other norms followed for government jobs. Candidates applying for the post of Fair Price Shop Clerk should have 12th pass (+2) or above. Must have equivalent qualification. It is also said that for the post of builder, one must have passed School Leaving Class (SSLC).
