Tirupattur
The Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered the appointment of teachers on temporary basis in the vacant posts in government schools. Accordingly, 298 intermediate teaching posts in 530 panchayat union primary and middle schools, 119 graduate teaching posts in 56 government high schools and 31 post graduate teaching posts in 58 government high schools were vacant in total 448 teaching posts in Tirupattur district. Applications for appointment of temporary teachers for these posts were received from last 4th.
On the last day to apply, a large number of graduates thronged the Tirupattur District Education Office since morning. Both men and women waited in long queues to apply. Around 4,021 people had applied for 448 vacant posts in the 2 district education offices of Tirupathur and Vaniyambadi in Tirupathur district.
