I am 4,021 new cases of coronavirus in Italy (yesterday there were 2,800, here the bulletin). It goes up like this at least 4.613.214 the number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the outbreak began. THE deaths today I’m 72 (yesterday there were 36), counting 20 previous deaths in Sicily and three in Campania *, for a total of 130,027 victims from February 2020. People recovered or discharged they are altogether 4.360.847 e 7.501 those that came out of the Covid nightmare today (4,186 yesterday). The positive current – the subjects who have the virus – turn out to be in everything 122.340, equal to -3.564 compared to yesterday (-1.430 the day before).
The swabs and the scenario
I total swabs (molecular and antigenic) were 318.593, which is 198,548 more than yesterday when it was 120,045. While the rate of positivity collapses to1,3% (the approximation of 1.26%); yesterday it was 2.3%. Here is the map of the contagion in Italy.
More infections in 24 hours than yesterday. As usual, on the second day of the week the oscillating curve rises due to a greater number of buffers. But from the comparison with last Tuesday (September 7) – the same day of the week – when they were recorded +4,720 almost with a positive rate of 1.5%, there is still a small improvement: in fact there are fewer new infections on 7 September with a lower case-to-test ratio (1.3% versus 1.5%). The trend remains slow down. This trend can be seen immediately by looking at the graph of the curve below.
always there Sicily (for over a month) to have the greatest number of new infected, remaining below the threshold of one thousand for the ninth consecutive day: here are +684 cases with a positive rate of 3.1% calculated on 21,800 swabs. Follows the Lombardy
that thanks to over 58 thousand analyzes processed – that is the highest number of regional tests of the day – has identified +435 cases (rate 0.7%). Above 400 altitude there is then the Veneto (+427 cases with 0.9% rate).
The sad threshold of 130,000 victims has been passed since the beginning of the emergency. 72 people have lost their lives and communicated in today’s bulletin. In the data at least 23 previous deaths are entered: there are 20 deceased in Sicily out of 24 communicated and three in Campania *. Sometimes it happens that in the first days of the week the regions add the deaths not entered in the system during the weekend and this change is not always specified in the notes. The regions with zero bereavement are: Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Abruzzo, Calabria, Molise, Valle d’Aosta and the provinces of Trento and Bolzano. Below is the detail.
The health system
Hospital stays are decreasing. The beds occupied in ordinary Covid wards I’m -35 (yesterday +87), for a total of 4,165 hospitalized. The beds occupied in intensive care (TI) are -9 – this is the balance between the people who left and those who entered IT – (yesterday +4), bringing the total of the most seriously ill patients to 554, with 29 admissions to resuscitation (yesterday 35).
The vaccine doses administered are over 81,1 millions. Citizens who have received the second dose are over 40,1 millions (74,28% of the population over 12). Here the map updated every evening and here the real-time data of the anti Covid-19 vaccines report on the government website.
