Delhi: Controversy over the t-shirt worn by Rahul leading the Bharat Jodo Yatra. BJP came forward alleging that Rahul is wearing a t-shirt worth Rs 41,527. BJP’s social media campaign shared a picture of a Burberry t-shirt and a picture of Rahul wearing it. BJP campaign titled ‘Bharat Dekho’ (See India) along with price of Burberry t-shirt worn by Rahul Gandhi. Congress has also come out with a heated response to the campaign on Twitter.
Another question of the Congress to the BJP is whether they were afraid of the crowd on the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The Congress says that they can discuss Modi’s suit worth Rs 10 lakh and the mirror worth Rs 1.5 lakh. The Congress also asked the BJP to talk about unemployment and rising prices.

Meanwhile, Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul started from Kanyakumari and ended at Nagercovi. The journey will reach Kerala the next day. After the prayer meeting, Rahul Gandhi received the flag from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin at the Gandhi Smriti Mandapam and the 150-day journey began.
Leaders like AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot are also with Rahul Gandhi. 117 regular members including senior leaders are accompanying Rahul Gandhi in the padayatra. The 150-day padayatra will pass through 12 states. As part of the march, rallies will be organized in 22 cities of the country. Bharat Jodo Yatra is led by Rahul Gandhi for 150 days without even staying in hotels. All the members of the Yatra, including Rahul Gandhi, have been accommodated in 60 container lorries. Food is on the way. This will be the routine of travel members for the next 5 months.
