46 migrants deported from Russia after mass brawl in Moscow

The Interior Ministry deported 46 migrants from Russia for a mass brawl in Moscow’s Kuzminki. In total, 87 people were sent to the Temporary Detention Center for Foreign Citizens.

“By the decision of the judicial authority, 87 people were placed in the temporary detention center for foreign citizens of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow for a period of 90 days … As of today, 46 foreign citizens have already been deported,” the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow said.

Previously, decisions on administrative arrests for 15 days were issued against 87 people. They were banned from entering Russia and the length of their stay in the country was reduced. A criminal case was opened against eight foreigners under the article “Hooliganism”.

In mid-July, about 200 people from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan gathered in the southeast of Moscow, they held a spontaneous procession and started a fight. Several people were injured.
