The mobile network cannot be accessed. Subscribers to Orange and its low-cost subsidiary Sosh are faced this Thursday, August 15 with the possibility of connecting to the mobile network from abroad, the company shows on the social network. “An incident is currently disrupting Orange’s roaming services in certain European countries,” he pointed out to X, without detailing the list of countries affected.

According to evidence posted on social networks, Germany, England, Greece, Italy, Belgium, Romania and even Spain are among the countries concerned. In this case, Orange subscribers cannot make phone calls, send or receive SMS messages or even connect to the Internet. In the middle of the school holidays, thousands of French people are likely.

Contacted by Le Parisien, Orange indicated around 7:30 pm this Thursday that everything should return to normal “soon”.

Browsing means “browsing data” in French. That is to say, from this technology you can use your phone abroad, as if you were in France, using another operator. European law prohibits charging any fees in the European Union to benefit from it.
