After the reform of the Judicial Branch was approved in the Senate of the Republic and it was announced that it would be discussed in the Mexico City Congress this Thursday, the deputies of the Fourth Transformation assured through a statement that they would submit it for discussion, and if necessary, approval, in a responsible manner.

“We express our commitment to analyze, discuss and approve with full responsibility the Minutes with Draft Decree by which various provisions of the Political Constitution of Mexico are modified in terms of reform to the Judicial Branch,” they guaranteed through the document.
In this sense, the deputies of the Transformation referred that when giving the approval The draft resolution will fulfil the people’s desire to have a judiciary that acts with honesty, transparency and a humanistic vision; therefore, they urged the opposition members in the local Congress to prioritise dialogue.
“We call on the opposition parties in the Mexico City Congress to prioritize dialogue and agreement, especially because the objective of this reform is for the majority of Mexicans to have access to justice,” says the statement issued by the Morena benches and their allies.

They also celebrated the vote in favorat the federal level by the members of the parliamentary groups of Morena, PT and PVEM in the Senate of the Republic, since they guaranteed that the requirement of millions of Mexicans to end corruption, nepotism and other irregularities within the Judiciary, in particular the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN)).
“We celebrate this historic victory because this constitutional reform by the Congress of the Union will represent a step towards the imparting of justice real for the people of Mexico,” they stressed in the statement.
